Purpose Statement

The Global Evangelical Mission & Christian Charitable Foundation Corporation (GEMCCF) was established in 2021 currently seeking to secure a land lot from the Clayton County Land Bank Board to develop and establish a community-focused facility that serves as a Homeless Shelter, a Youth Empowerment Center, and a Retail Space for charitable fundraising.

MISSION STATEMENT

GEMCCFC’s mission is to provide hope, restoration, and empowerment to the most vulnerable populations in Clayton County. Through our Homeless Shelter, Youth Empowerment Center, and Retail Space for Charity Fundraising, we are committed to:
Sheltering and Supporting Homeless Individuals: To provide safe, compassionate, and stable living environments for individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them transition to independent living through access to critical services, education, and mental health support.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF GEMCCFC

Provide Comprehensive Support to Homeless Individuals
  • Offer temporary housing, nutritious meals, and personal hygiene facilities.
  • Provide access to case management services, including employment training, financial literacy education, and referrals to mental health or addiction counseling.
  • Facilitate long-term housing opportunities through partnerships with local housing authorities and private developers.
  • Launch after-school programs that focus on academic tutoring, career readiness, and vocational training.
  • Offer leadership development opportunities such as workshops on public speaking, entrepreneurship, and team-building.
Provide a safe space for recreational and creative activities, fostering the growth of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
  • Operate a storefront selling items such as donated clothing, handmade crafts, and artwork, with proceeds directly benefiting GEMCCF’s initiatives and supporting both local and international charity projects.
  • Organize community fundraisers, pop-up markets, and special events to raise awareness and increase donations for the shelter, youth programs, and global outreach efforts focused on addressing poverty, education, and healthcare needs in underserved local and international communities.
